Dr. Denis Phares is a recognized expert in advanced battery technology and manufacturing innovation. As President and Chief Executive Officer of Dragonfly Energy Corp., he leads the development of cutting-edge lithium-ion technologies and next-generation manufacturing processes that are redefining energy storage. Under his leadership, Dragonfly Energy and its flagship brand, Battle Born Batteries®, have grown into a leading force in the deep-cycle battery market, supported by a world-class R&D team advancing proprietary technologies from concept to commercialization.
Before founding Dragonfly Energy in 2012, Phares was a tenured professor of Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southern California. With three decades of experience spanning energy systems, nanotechnology, fluid mechanics, and powder processing, he has positioned himself at the forefront of lithium-ion cell innovation. His portfolio of patents includes core advancements in battery cell design and manufacturing methods that are foundational to the company’s technology roadmap.
Phares earned a B.S. in Physics from Villanova University, an M.S. and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering Science from the California Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno.
As the Chief Commercial Officer, Wade Seaburg leads Dragonfly Energy’s sales, business development and revenue growth & diversification efforts. Wade’s career and long-term success in business progression and B2B sales originated from his education at Purdue University where he earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and then through Eaton Corporation (ETN) where Seaburg completed their distinguished Technical Sales Training Program. Following 12 years as a Senior Account Representative within the WESCO (WCC) Distribution Manufactured Structures Division, Wade began his 5-year career as Founder and President at Structure Sales, a company focused on representing industry-leading suppliers to OEMs in the RV and Marine markets.
Working as both a lead and co-inventor, Wade acquired three patents with the company. Wade began contract work with Dragonfly Energy in 2018 prior to fully joining the company as a Director of Outside Sales and Business Development in 2021, and now serving as Chief Revenue Officer of the company. During his time with Dragonfly Energy, Seaburg has helped grow the company’s OEM business and relationships exponentially, including being instrumental in successfully getting the company recognized as a “Five Rivet Supplier” with the iconic brand – Airstream RV. His work and strong B2B relationships also propelled the growth of the partnership between Dragonfly Energy and Keystone RV—where the two companies transformed the way an entire industry looked at battery power for RVs.
Wade continues to prove Dragonfly’s ability to successfully serve high-volume OEM in various markets. Seaburg’s diverse skillset has led him to continually gain clear understanding of needs across industries and then to reach productive resolutions for all parties involved, including valued customers and stakeholders. As Chief Operating Officer of Dragonfly Energy Corporation, Dr. Vick Singh drives operational excellence and strategic growth across the company. With a strong background in materials science, chemical engineering, and large-scale research initiatives, he has played a pivotal role in optimizing company-wide structures, improving efficiencies, and streamlining manufacturing processes.
Dr. Singh has been instrumental in building and refining Dragonfly Energy’s Research & Development division, previously serving as Senior Vice President of Technology and Director of R&D. Under his leadership, the company has made significant advancements in next-generation lithium-ion batteries and all-solid-state battery chemistries for deep-cycle applications. His ability to structure teams and enhance efficiencies has extended beyond R&D, proving invaluable across multiple departments within Dragonfly Energy.
Before joining Dragonfly Energy Corporation, Dr. Vick Singh was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s Center for Global Security Research. His research focused on international nuclear energy development and its impact on nonproliferation policy. His work has been published and presented in multiple scientific reports on electrochemical techniques and their measurement uncertainties.
Dr. Singh also served as a Nuclear Regulatory Commission Fellow during his Ph.D. studies at the University of Nevada, Reno. Dr. Singh’s academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. He investigated the deployment of electroanalytical and spectroscopic techniques for nuclear material monitoring in molten salt systems utilized in the domestic nuclear weapons complex and Generation IV nuclear fuel cycles. He also holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Tyler Bourns is the Chief Marketing Officer of Dragonfly Energy, a leader in lithium battery technology and the parent company of the Battle Born Batteries brand. Recognized as one of the driving forces behind Battle Born’s rise, Tyler helped transform the brand from a niche startup into one of the most trusted and recognizable LiFePO4 names in off-grid power. His strategic marketing leadership has played a key role in expanding Dragonfly Energy’s presence across RV, marine, trucking, industrial, and broader battery technology markets, and in guiding the company through its emergence into the public markets on Nasdaq.
Tyler brings nearly 20 years of experience in content-driven marketing, brand strategy, and creative production. Prior to joining Dragonfly Energy full time, he owned and operated Bourns Productions, an award-winning production company known for storytelling that resonated with national and global audiences. His work has been recognized with three Emmy Awards and numerous selections across international film festival circuits, including screenings at the Cannes Film Festival. Tyler was also named AAF Reno Ad Person of the Year, honoring his impact and leadership in the creative community.
Today, Tyler leads Dragonfly Energy’s marketing, communications, brand strategy, media production, investor messaging, and product marketing initiatives. His work blends data-driven strategy with clear, accessible storytelling to help customers, partners, and industry leaders understand the value of advanced lithium power systems and battery innovation.
Tyler’s contributions to the industry and Nevada’s energy ecosystem have earned national and regional recognition. He is a founding board member of the Nevada Battery Coalition, a member of the RV Industry Association Emerging Leaders Coalition, and was named to RV Pro’s 40 Under 40. In 2025, he was also named an Honorary Member of Upcell, recognizing his role in fostering collaboration and supporting growth within the global battery and energy storage ecosystem.
